How To Setup Arlo Camera
You need to follow these instructions in order to set up the Arlo security cameras. When you sync the Arlo pro cameras with the Arlo base station, you can use the various Arlo camera features when you sync your camera. You also will be able to use the rechargeable batteries, the 2-way audio, AC power use, and advanced motion detection. You must make sure that the camera is getting synced one at a time.
Follow the steps mentioned below in order to set up and sync the Arlo camera:
- The first thing that you need to do is to open the battery compartment by pressing the latch and pulling it back gently.
- After that, you need to insert the battery as it has been shown and then close the battery door.
- Then you need to bring the camera within one to three feet of the base station.
- After that, you can sync the camera to the base station. When you are using the Arlo base station, then you need to press the sync button on the side of the base station for at least two seconds and then press the release button.
- If you are pressing the sync button on the Arlo base station for too long, the LED under the USB symbol is going to blink in the amber color for approximately 10 minutes. When you see that the USB LED is blinking in Amber light, then it means that the sync process is blocked.
- When you are using Arlo base 2 or Arlo base 2 stations, then you need to press the button on the top of the base station for about two seconds and then release the button.
- After that, you need to wait for the Sync status LED to blink in green.
- Then press the sync button on the top of the camera for about two seconds and then release the button.
- There will be a blue light on the Camera LED that will state that it has been synced.
- If you see that the LED on the camera blinks amber, then the sync is not at all successful. Then you must repeat the sync process.
- After that, you need to check the camera LED on the base station. When you see that the LED on the base station is turning to green, then it means that the sync is successfully completed,
- Repeat these steps for every camera. If you are not completing the sync process in 60 seconds, press the button on the top of the base station and then try again. If you are not able to sync the camera, then you need to get in touch with our experts.
